Can you define severe? I agree that they're not optimal to play with, I think the optimal stage choice is frozen 20XX stages but who gets to decide what is severe? Yoshi's, Dreamland, and FoD have some form of stage alteration as well

I agree that all of those stages have some jank and reasons why they were banned but I think it would be a good time to discuss stage legality. I think the stage change Great Bay has is much less jank than pokemon transformations that enable infinite combos. Kongo Jungle is huge but so is...

You're right, my bad. It was kinda ignorant to say that. I just don't think by that point it will be considered as a possible replacement for melee.

Well I mean like, competitively. Its a nice looking game and theres a lot of excitement about it, it has reeally good music (coming from a 100% band nerd) and it ll still be played and loved till something better comes along, but Im just estimating that the competitive scene will have simmered...
