If Sakurai could do a moveset for a Piranha Plant, why rule it out? A bonus free-of-charge seventh fighter for Pass 2 hopefully? It might be difficult to do it with a doctor outfit in the way though. Maybe you can tap a neutral special to have as many as eight Goombas atop each other. ;)

A Hollow Knight Mii costume would be a lovely surprise! Chocobo is a guarantee. Tifa and Barret might come at a later date, they're lock-ins but the costumes in these presentations aren't usually from the same game. But even if there's no Geno, I wouldn't read it as confirmation they're a fighter.

I'd be open to another Sonic character. Not really a priority for me though. That said, not many Nintendo characters have been DLC for Ultimate. Is Final Fantasy the only example of an extra character being added from an already-represented franchise? If so, this could be a one-time thing...
