Yeah it's weird because Steve can go for noncommittal kill options repeatedly and at some point most characters have to take a risk. If you're at last stock last hit vs diamond Steve you're at a surprisingly large disadvantage. Cloud at least can just bair repeatedly from a safe distance.

Yeah it's not a huge problem if you get one or two of the problem characters in a top 8 (Steve, sonic, gnw, olimar, etc) but when you get all of them and Dabuz of all people needs to be your savior, you've got a problem. On another note I feel like sooo many people get Acola in that last stock...

We had BoBC5 with 2 :ultgnw:'s flooding top 8 as well as other characters no one likes to watch like :ultsteve: and :ultolimar:, and this week we had some :ultsonic:'s snoring up top 8. Ultimate seems to always have phases like these where certain [boring/cringe/insert insult] characters that...

I've always thought that Shulk's biggest weakness was his inability to put out big damage at any time. Buster can be avoided by fast characters, and strong but slower characters can often make it feel riskier for the Shulk in many instances. It just feels like he has to nair and fair and grab...

Somehow all of the Smash 4 top tiers are slowly returning. :ultbayonetta::ultcloud::ultfox::ultrosalina::ultzss::ultdiddy::ultsonic: kinda :ultryu::ultcorrinf:. If only someone told :ultsheik: the coast is clear.

Yeah it's difficult because if you play Yoshi and nair OoS all of the time you have that muscle memory which just adds effort that shouldn't be necessary. Though if you do IDJs you're somewhat used to buffering during the jumpsquat.

I basically never selected Young Link on the selection screen until I went to go try this out. That is unfortunate. Although I'm not sure why you lose frames by doing that since you can just hit nair during the jumpsquat right?

Not sure that I've heard people call the swordies lame. I mean Roy, Lucina, and Chrom are known to be spammy, but that's it. Seph gets called lame sometimes (I slightly agree).

People don't joke about it because he has a health condition. People joke about it because they don't know why he does it and its funny to think he's icing his opponent. No one even knew about the health condition. As far as it being an issue for non-American viewers, that is an issue...

Yes there is subtle bias but I don't think it's an issue. I wouldn't necessarily say this is a good example of bias against Japanes players either. Proto takes a large amount of time in between games essentially every single time he appears on stream (obviously when facing a capable opponent, an...

Yup, and I saw someone mention that Proto doesn't get coaching in between the break. Getting coaching in between is one of the benefits you get from being in Grands from Winners. Icing is a 100% perfectly fine strategy, more honorable even then going for timeouts (im not saying going for...

Yeah Tweek completely dismantled the Aegis. I'm wondering if Leo wins the whole event from there
