As a mindgame vs. Marth, I light shield at the edge so it forces them to up B sooner onto the ledge, but before they get a chance to knock me onto the ledge, I press the shield button in further to get a normal shield, putting me in position for a fast easy downsmash.

I was wondering how people got their fingers from y/x to the c stick so fast for the shine b-air. Thanks for the info on using the control stick to jump, I'll practice that later today.

Falco jumps the highest out of all of the characters, so you might want to try falling a little further before you ledgehop than with say fox or captain falcon. (i.e. your first ledgehop to d-air). Your fingers are faster than mine (I'm still working on the shine b-air), which is always a good...

I would suggest playing Samus a few times, getting a hang of what you can do with the bomb jumps, up B out of shield when to expect it being used that sort of thing. Most Samus players I play against tend to lay a bomb as sort of a bit of a cover, spam a few missiles and lead themselves into...

It's very difficult to do with Fox, you've gotta be pressing b the moment after you hit jump. Even pro smashers normally don't try to shdl as it takes too much effort when a single shl accomplishes the same thing (harassment) so more energy goes into the actual combat.

Back when I was a noob (still am, but less so) playing free for alls with friends, I started off playing Sheik, but then I decided randomly that I'd play Falco. His attacks just seem to come naturally so I've been maining him ever since. Has to be Red, I personally think it's his coolest outfit.
