    Editted for fun and accuracy. Fun trivia of the day: There is one playable Smash character who deserves to be banned, which is Melee Master Hand for multiple very valid reason. (Unintended esoteric glitch, port-specific/cannot be mirrored, cannot die, all matches go to timeout + crash the game.)

    I really just feels like the ceiling to optimize against Pika is just as high as the ceiling to optimize Pika himself. Highly-precise aerials or grabs calling out Pikachu's specific, unique approach patterns is just giving people huge rewards against a lightweight character.

    Shieldstun is calculated based on damage, and I believe this includes shield damage bonuses. (See: Pound) The result should be a couple fewer frames for Min Min. Keeping in mind that Min Min's ground game was already the safest on shield in the game, I'm unconvinced that this actually matters...

    That highway goes a lot longer. Keep going broader and you'll find Ness as the top character. Go far enough and it's probably like, Kirby. The game probably has, for any given metric defining "best", 6-12 different best characters depending on level of play being discussed.
