Toon Link Q&A and FAQ Thread <- VISIT THIS THREAD BEFORE CREATING A NEW TOPIC

Hey guys, I love these forums, they have helped me get a lot better :) But I do have a question. How do you warm up versus someone you have never played before? I know in tennis at least you can either go easy and not show all your moves, or you can use all of your kick butt moves to intimidat...

Getting Into The Toon Link Groove

I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem, but warming up takes a while with tl. When ever I play, it seems like I need 2 matches before I play at a normal skill level. At the beginnings of matches this happens too. My quickdraws are off and my bomb pulls are late. For example, I was playing...

    Wii Classic Controller Pro

Hey guys, I actually just bought a wii classic controller pro and I like it so far. I had to switch the button layout around dramatically (a is jump, b is atk, x is special) but now I think it works. I love being able to uptilt. The controll stick will take time to get used to.

    Controller Preference Poll!

What do you GC Wired people think about The Classic Pro? Possibly better than the GC in every single way?

    Controller Preference Poll!

So tell me forum... Which controller do you prefer? (Hey, if there is a mod out there that can add a poll please... I'm not sure how to... The options will be GameCube, GameCube Wireless, WiiMote, WiiMote+Nunchuck, Classic, and Classic Pro. Then please delete this little extra message...

    Wii Classic Controller Pro

Thanks everybody for your imput. The one thing that was holding me back was the forced usage of the control sticks to move (I use wiimote, not sure if it will feel right). But just now, I realized the classic pro has a d-pad also! (duh). Plus I can use the control sticks for fancy combos. So, I...

    Wii Classic Controller Pro

Thanks for all the input. Here are my main reasons for potentially purchasing the CCPro. • I can pull of (all?) of the trick and techs on these forums that I can't normally with the WiiMote • It is more comfortable(?) than the WiiMote • I hate the GCC with a firey passion. So... Is it worth...

Getting Back In With Toon Link

Hmmm... I have never thought to uncombo-atize. That is a great idea! Thanks!

Getting Back In With Toon Link

Hey guys, Im new here, so if this was posted previously link me to the page plz. I always seem to have the problem of getting back into the action. When I combo and destroy, it's great, but when I get Combo-itized I can't seem to get back into a new combo streak. What are the best ways to...

    Wii Classic Controller Pro

If I personally do not like the GC controller, should I go with the Classic Pro? (the L and R buttons aren't responsive enough and the Large A button seems funneh.

    Wii Classic Controller Pro

Hey guys, I love your forums but this is the first time Ive decided to post. Today in the US the Wii Classic Controller Pro was released. It costs 20$. I am wondering if it would be an optimal control system for Brawl. I currently use a wiimote (which is all good except that I can't use my...
