I played Smash 64 when I was a child, but never looked into it competitively. For me, it was just a simple fun game to play with friends (and of course that last part has never changed). I've never owned a GameCube so I never had Melee, and have only played it a few times a long, long time ago. I didn't really get back into Smash Bros. until Brawl, and thereafter I got into competitive gameplay. My favorite characters in Brawl were Diddy Kong, Falco, and Ice Climbers. I looked into project M for a little bit, but it never really grew on me. I now own both Smash for 3DS and Wii U and this is by far my favorite iteration of the game. I've honed in on a knack for Ness and Charizard. Now, I've become the TO for Smash 4 in Binghamton. I look forward to going to local/semi-local tournaments when I get the chance too and really refine my skills as a Smash player and become a part of the local Smash 4 scene.
