Well, I can say I wasn't expecting that, for sure. Neutral on Byleth, they aren't a Marth clone so I'm content, but nothing spectacular. Sakurai at least makes the whole presentation fun to watch with his charm. I thought the stage looked just fine, I don't know what you guys are talking about...
