Q&A Gameplay Q&A and General Discussion Thread

Rosalina is one of the matchups I struggle with playing TL and Ness. But I played a couple Rosalina's last night and was able to handle them and actually feel comfortable doing so. Really digging this character.

Social Corrin Social - Still Fire Emblem Social

Man, snow is REALLY starting to come down here. Starting to look like I'll be staying inside most of the weekend. Too bad Fates didn't come out today instead of next week...

Official The Picto Box - Toon Link Video & Critique Thread

Apparently there were a couple Japanese Toon Link players that placed well in tournaments over the last day or so. I didn't see a tourney results thread on this board, so is there where I can request if anyone knows where to find the VODs?

    Corrin Up-Smash?

Maybe I'm using it incorrectly/not enough, but I don't find much use for up smash. It's range is vertical only, and I find up air to almost always be a better option when someone is coming down from the air. IDK, though, still a lot of practice to do with this character.

    The Official South Carolina Thread

Are there any weeklies in the Greenville area? Trying to get more involved in the Upstate Smash 4 scene, and I want to make it out to a Tech Shack weekly in Clemson, but it would be hard to leave work, sit in traffic, and drive up there in time to participate in the tourney, much less warm...

How many of you Ness Mains have actually played Earthbound?

Great fun, great humor, and very touching. One of my favorites. On a somewhat related note, I hear Undertale is a game in the same "spirit" of Earthbound. I should get around to playing it at some point.

    Social Roy Social - R O Y B O Y Z

Looks in mirror. Adjusts glasses. Damn it. In other news, I started playing through Binding Blade. It's kind of refreshing to go back to an "old-school" Fire Emblem game in this post-Awakening world. Don't get me wrong, I loved Awakening, but playing FE6 reminds me of playing my first FE game...

    Legend of Zelda Hyrule Warriors

http://www.perfectly-nintendo.com/hyrule-warriors-legends-toon-link-to-be-playable-new-story-for-the-wind-waker/ Looks like Toon Link will be playable! This makes me very happy. I still really hope all this content is able to be purchased separately for the Wii U version rather than being...

Official Amiibo General Thread - Complete Smash Bros. Set Now Avaliable!

So this is weird. I ordered ZSS, Ganondorf, and 8-Bit Classic Mario from Target.com. I got a shipping notification for them, but only for ZSS and 8-Bit; says Ganondorf has "not yet shipped". I'm not worried, but I guess they're just shipping them as they get them, rather than wait for one big...

Official Amiibo General Thread - Complete Smash Bros. Set Now Avaliable!

Anyone have experience with Target.com shipping? I got in an order a week ago for ZSS, Ganondorf, and 8-bit Mario. Jigglypuff shipping seemed to be really hit or miss for most people.

[Answered] Dthrow to Up - B?

This works great if you condition them at lower percents to expect a d-throw, up-b. I don't usually like to use up-b in low-to-mid percents, but rather save it for higher percents when the kill potential is higher and the move is fresh.

Is Toon Links Up-B good when an enemy gets too close?

If your opponent is a big roll spammer, grounded up-b is great for roll punishes. They'll either have to stop rolling past you, which should mess up their game enough for you to punish them while they think about what to do next, or you'll keep getting free damage from them rolling.

    Respect Online

Man, not even that, they wouldn't have the guts to be disrespectful to someone face to face.
