Maybe I'm biased, but in a competitive setting, I wouldn't really add Link to that list. His projectiles are highly punishable if used incorrectly, and because of his weaknesses he isn't as easy to play as some characters who don't have as many.

I'm not sure if this is unpopular or not, given that people really hate Sonic, but he really should've gotten some remixed music this time around. Mega Man has a ton of remixes, but they didn't even bother to make new music for Sonic. I dislike fighting the character as much as anyone else...

I'd just rather have characters get buffed that really need it (Zelda, Samus, etc) instead of characters getting nerfed. I wouldn't really want to play with the worry that down the road, what I'm doing won't work anymore.

It doesn't happen to me, but I've heard that sort of thing happens if you've been reported. You're sent to a sort of Smash Purgatory where other reported users are. That's probably why you're going against the same person over and over.
