Official one doesn't have the hanging victory screen bug in 1p and the black square while offscreen bug. Also, the music isn't ********. The h4x'd one is pretty buggy... I just realized that...

You should stop being afraid of Homebrew stuff. You worried you'll break your Wii or something? And if you are, when they make the NAND emulator, you can hack on it, and not worry about bricking your system.

You can do an offline upgrade. You don't need internets. It's just more difficult.

I'm looking forward to the NAND emulator. It basically emulates the entire Wii system, and runs it on your Wii. So you can do anything to it. Your actual Wii system isn't touched. It's like having another Wii, on the same Wii. It still isn't done yet though...

And no, you just need to update for shop channel. Which I did. Safely through h4x. So now I have a 4.1U Wii with all the goodies of Homebrew. I just wanted the SD Menu really.

I could have illegally downloaded the games and installed VC games through homebrew, and kept my 3.2 version, but they're usually not the same quality as ones that you download officially. Plus that's called piracy, and is the reason Nintendo hates Homebrew.

I did test out a few games though. I just don't keep them. Like that, "My Life as a King" game. I put that on for a bit to see if it's worth buying. It is. I also tested Majora's Mask to see if it suffered from the lag in the Gamecube version. But it would never start. So I ignored that.

It's good for testing things. But I'm not gonna pirate anything. It's all of worse quality, makes Nintendo hate you, and you can't use any online stuff legitly. Also, people seem to mess with the games sometimes. For example, the "My Life as a King" game, for a split second, it says "xdeadpoolx is a ****tard." when you start it. Another reason to avoid that junk.

And just like every other Smash game so far, my favorite characters are high on the tiers.
I think imma use Pikachu in Melee, just to complete the trilogy. Main in 64 and Bawrl already.

I need to re-unlock stuff on my Wii again though, since I accidentally deleted it with Anytitle deleter on Homebrew cause it was under the disguise of "Sin and Punishment" which is the game they injected Smash 64 into. I didn't know that, so I thought I was deleting Sin and Punishment. I used that game to test out the new WAD installer, which is what you use to install channels and VC on the Wii through Homebrew.

Smash 64 is too fun. It's getting released on VC sometime soon, so you don't have to hack it on to your Wii now. It's already out in Japan and Europe. We gotta wait...

I just hope they fix the controls to be like Melee and Brawl on the GC controller. Then I can smash with the C-stick and not jump with R.
