They remind me a lot of piranha plant too. They have quirky, heavy impact and clever moves BUT miss out on that little extra but of mobility that would otherwise push them up. IMO the reason they’re better than plant though is the throw game and grenades.

I agree with both the comments above re: Yoshi. In my exp he has no middle following. He’s either played by God’s or noobs (like jiggs). I’d play King D more if they fixed his Gordo to make it less easy to bounce back at me lol.

Anyone consider plant to have more potential than he’s being granted in the tier lists?

Do you find tier lists make you feel limited in terms of viability? I all too often settle on bottom tier fighters and end up in the GSP pits by way of More top tier fighters.

I’m leaning on plant too! He’s seeming quite tactical to me and his recent patches have helped. Hoping there are more top tier players out there who try him soon so I can scout for tips. The tier list culture will often punish him however so maybe I’m dreaming.
