    Worst Character in the game.

I've found Chakram to be widely useless compared to Tornado. With just that one projectile, my ranged options are covered, meaning I have space for a recovery technique that, at full charge[which doesn't take long] can get me back to any ledge that I'm above no matter how far away it is, so long...

    Mii Height/Width Analysis

So since each type of Mii gets different benefits out of height and width, would it be possible to summarize which would be best for each type? Because even if they get a lot less lag and a lot more power out of being short and wide, using that would decrease range on others, and that could mess...

"The One Inch Punch" A Mii Brawler Insta KO Tech

Let's not do that and just learn to avoid the attack.

    The Mii Sword Arts

Question: it was mentioned that the Sword Fighter is best when it is made "big". In what way? Fat, or tall? Or Both?

    Worst Character in the game.

"his recovery is bad" Antony, Meet Aerial Assault. Aerial Assault, Antony.

3DS Community Patch Notes v1.0.4 -- Engine Changes to DI

Really? Coulda sworn I was getting less landing lag on his forward and neutral aerials, or at least a buff to the frames in which I could act after landing lag.[IE, It feels like I can now roll/shield sooner compared to before, after landing lag activates on one of those]

3DS Community Patch Notes v1.0.4 -- Engine Changes to DI

I feel like something positive is going on with the end-frames of some of Link's projectiles and overall moves have been improved in speed. Can anyone confirm?

3DS Community Patch Notes v1.0.4 -- Engine Changes to DI

I like that the forward Smash and grab for Link were improved, but did he HAVE to take out the ability to cancel landing lag for attacks via bomb tossing? That was one of the better options Link had for harassing on approach... Has anyone done more extensive testing on Link? I'd like to know if...

All of the important Melee characters are back!

Aside from being faster and slightly less powerful, and having her damage spread evenly across her blade with no fire attribute, she basically is Roy's replacement. If they gave her a neutral B custom that matched Roy's flare slam using some other kind of element, she'd be a dead-ringer.

All of the important Melee characters are back!

She doesn't need to; Luma in and of itself is a far more effective partner because it can never truly be destroyed, and is a powerful projectile all on its own, in addition to being able to do death traps the same way a desynched IC's could, sans throws.

All of the important Melee characters are back!

Her partner never truly dies and your recovery isn't gimped if it's dead. Plus you've got a move that forcibly distances it from you for easier set-ups. You're one "it can grab now, too!" from having a character that could easily trounce Ice Climbers in any match-up. How is that not "dirty"?XD

All of the important Melee characters are back!

Rosalina is basically Ice Climbers 2.0. So long as she's got all the attack capability of them[sans throws] with no gimped recovery as a result of the partner dying, you don't really need IC's to return. Heck, her partner even regens after a while if it dies. She's quite simply superior.

Amiibos are going to be a big deal, for me...

I sincerely doubt that's true. The fact that they can learn to play as you do and learn to counter your strategies, over time, is, in and of itself, enough to make them at least a little harder than a lvl 9. How far they take that learning, and by extension how much higher up they can get from a...

Amiibos are going to be a big deal, for me...

For Smash, specifically, it's going to allow you to train a new NPC fighter that literally learns your fighting style as it grows, and can go up to level 50 instead of just 9! For someone that doesn't live near a lot of people, and has crappy internet, this is a good way to get a tougher...

Testers needed: Link's Dash attack has a hidden property?

I've been trying to reliably replicate this, but without a friend who also owns the game living near me, it's proving difficult, so I'd like some help from you guys here. There are times, when using Link's dash attack, when I notice that he is capable of "dodging" projectiles mid-leap. Bigger...
