Okay, I got an update on my Ike. I got six games, please critique. I know I'm pretty bad, but I'm trying to learn how to pressure, approach, and mix it all up. Any tips towards that goal. Also, special attention to games on battlefield, people keep saying this is Ike's best stage. Lemme know how...

I'd just need a ride and an open schedule. I'll figure it out. In the mean time, I'll study ryo/san and break their Ikes down and incorporate what I can into improving my ike.

Fair enough, but I live in the suburbs of philly, and I don't hear of many tournaments. I do want to enter the tournament scene, but I'm not a traveler...NJ is the furthest I'd go.

MK does do the best against MK. MK beats MK 100 percent of the time in the mirror. No other character can match those numbers.

Ike's crawling guys, he was low tier at one point, ya know. Another 8 years and he'll be sharing MK's spot. ;)

Does Ryo have youtube videos? Scratch that, I watched a video, and he doesn't seem like a San...in fact, my Ike may not be too far behind his. I just need solid tournament experience. Is this like a "RIG" kinda deal.

Can I ask a dumb question? Don't answer that because I'm proceeding anyway despite any permission or lack there of. What are some good approaches with Ike (within his limited options)? Shield-cancel jabs are getting predictable and neutral air always seems to lead me into getting grabbed.

What advantages could possibly come of Ike whipping it out mid battle?

Well, yes I like chess but I was never any good at it, and I'm good with numbers as I long as I understand what I'm doing. So I suppose FE is gonna require a little learning to get used to I suppose. ^^
