    The Neutral Game

For me when i am playing well it is all about being at good ranges. Using dash dance to weave in and out of a good range to bait a response, PP is great at this. A good range vs fox for example is just outside of dash sh nair. Playing SF helped me a bunch with this as ranges of moves are super...

    Aerials Oos and it's uses

All the usual options have been covered. I have been thinking about knee out of shield recently. First I thought it was just high risk high reward, however, as a surprise it sometimes works. I think in certain situations it might even be good to avoid the next incoming shield pressure attack...

When should you use late uair in neutral?

I like it since it is a surprising timing when compared to nair, so I like to mix it in when my nairs are getting used a little to much and I want to throw my opponent off. Can even use it to approach if you read your opponent dash dancing for a grab as pulling it out at the last second catches...

    Edgeguarding Options

Considering some options from a ledge grab position: I like let go of ledge->dj uair ->re-grab ledge vs firefox that has gone low, but not too low. Catches a lot of angles and can force a tech, in which case you are back to the ledge in time to response in most cases. I like drop away from...

Data Captain Falcon Hitboxes and Frame Data

Great thread. I have a request however. I know it is not a hit box, but would it make sense to add the hurtbox of his jumps as gifs as well? In particular the short hop back (flip) and the double jump which both make his hurtbox smaller?

    When to use Falcon's wavedash

I sometimes wavedash back vs a spacie approach and do a crouch cancel grab/shield grab option select against a predicted nair. I just hold down during the wavedash and hold down shield, then press grab after they touch me

Hey Titch, out of interest what tournaments did you attend at Edinburgh Uni a few years back? I was most likely running them or there at the events haha! Apart from that these guys have it covered with the info.

How Do You Deal With Falco's Dair?

His dair is more than just a threat as a edguard though guys. How do we deal with it as he comes from above? Seems like we do not have the leisure of auto win priority upair since dair is damn good. To get around the edguard though, try doing "dumb" high recoveries to mix up as mentioned by...

How to deal with a Fox main?

I sometimes struggle with rushdown foxes. My remedies are to pivot nair their approach (hard) or what has worked for me more recently is stuffing the nair with bair. I go for this in 2 ways: i)if he is hot on my tail I will instant bair ii) with a little more space to work with I will short hop...

PPMD's thoughts on controlling space with Bair vs Nair

I think bair can be better than nair for covering space at times, especially when you read an approach and you can dash back and bair or aerial di backwards with a bair to stuff them. The only downside I feel is that bair shows no immediate threat of coming forwards and still being safe like...
