Ok, so yesterday I perfected my waveshining, but I still can't shorthop =/ I can shorthop 2/10 times. I know that to do this, you need to hardly press the button really fast, I'm doing this, but it still isn't working. Any advice to get it faster?

Ok, I know this question has probably been asked before, but do you guys have any advice for fighting a Falcon? Every time I try something, he either nairs me, stomps me, or knees me. Then, I'll try to shinespike him, but he hits he with his up-b. How can I improve against him?
