I find hitlag in throws to be very important, because it influences how much frame advantage you have after the throw. If there was no hitlag on Pichu's dthrow for example, he would have 7 frames more frame advantage which would mean he could combo off it longer.

Base damage is actually 1.3%, not 1.5%. It seems you tested it with just 1 CPU, which causes the 1v1 damage buff to be active.

Thanks for all of this, but I think I found a mistake: Pichu's down throw has 46 total frames, not 39.

On the patch notes it says for Cloud "Down special knockback increased", but according to the patch notes, the range was increased and not the knockback? Edit: Also it doesn't mention the the hitbox changes for Inkling's side B. It's also missing the new armor for Kirby's stone

The problem with the first one is it doesn't talk about anything that's in Games & More (All Star?, Stadium?), in Vault (Trophies?) or in Online, all things we know almost nothing about.

To be fair, believing Smash infos, which could be leak bait, from an insider is completely different from believing a Direct date they posted, since there is no reason to make a date a leak bait. So I would say believing an insider when they say a date but not when they mention characters can...

I know I'm late, but I think a key difference is characters insiders have heard might be leak bait, a date for a Direct has a very small chance of being leak bait, because why would Nintendo do that?

My takeaway from this was actually that the empty mural was most likely not sent to the company by Nintendo, but created by the company. That means it makes sense that the places they can't see don't fit with the actual background exactly because the company has no reason to look for the actual...
