There has been a longstanding popular consensus since around 2004 that Randall the Cloud was named for me by the Punch Crew's FastFox, but I've never been able to corroborate the evidence. It's true, I'm more or less immune to meaningless notifications appearing en masse across all fields of social media, so that's not so much the problem. It's more that I just fundamentally prefer a discussion board that's arranged into subject-based threads, which eliminates the need to browse...

Hard to keep the regional threads alive, but I sure haven't left smashboards. I appreciate that it doesn't send me fourteen notifications everytime someone posts a lame GIF.

Also, on the subject of Zenith, great showing from Vist and Abate as well--all three of ya got respectable placings!

Yessir--these boards have my undying support. Despite the disconcerting trend towards Facebook groups that fracture the community into pockets of local players, this is still the number one place to go for all things smash--especially for new players (which I was surprised to learn still exist!).
