No this is not a joke, I didn't know where to put this since there was no general Smash section, so please don't be too harsh. I don't see anything wrong with this thread. Now that Smash 4 has taken all the most popular characters, Nintendo may have to dig deep for newcomers. Inkling is for sure...

This is why I say he'd be a good rep for Smash 5, since all the most popular characters are already in the game. They have to add more characters, but the obvious ones have already been done, so they'd have to dig deep next time around.

I'm predicting a Yooka and Laylee support thread to come up soon, you guys are gonna be getting some new rivals.

After watching Donkey Kong the animated series and looking at dozens of Expand Dong jokes I now have more appreciation for the King and it'd be pretty funny to see him in. Although I still think he'd feel more out of place, even more than Ryu. His final smash could involve summoning the powers...

I would be pissed if Goku got in instead of Krillin. How about we add Ash and his Pikachu and they could fight like the Ice Climbers.

I finally beat Fire Emblem The Binding Blade, and seeing Masahiro Sakurai's name in the credits gives me further hope for our boy Roy. Roy is a boy with a pure heart, he won't sink so low as to get revenge. IF Roy got a new English voice actor... who do you think should or would be the new VA...

You guys are forgetting about the amazing taunts. Seeing Ryu use a Shoryuken to recover on stage would look pretty weird tbh. Shoryuken is preformed on the ground.
