If you have both available just ignore everyone else and go for what you prefer, but keep in mind that if you do want to go to tourneys and the like you MAY have slight problems with syncing the Pro controller (doubtful unless someone else is doing it at the same time as you)

I don't see how you're having so much trouble stomaching it, there's like 3 events to do for the stages and you can just play VS matches to unlock characters

You're asking the most hardcore community for Smashbros if they think you should use a GC controller? I have it, it's really goddamn nice - I absolutely love it, if you want to get a good controller this is not a bad choice at all

Physical. I preordered the bundle from EB Games with 1-2 day express shipping - I just pray that they ship it early enough for me to be able to play friday :( If anyone can confirm/deny when they ship stuff like this it would make me feel better

I understand the concepts here, but I'm not sure how to do them - how do you pivot properly? Is it dash > let go of pad > quickly move in opposite direction and attack?

I don't want to get too involved in this debate, but if people really want equipment in tourneys, then why not throw a tourney together with equipment? Enough of this theory crap, the game is HERE. Just try it. You've got a chance to be shaping the meta of this game, so why are you here on...

Equipment has so many random elements involved it will most likely never be added to a tourney, and any tourney that does allow it will be controversial. I'm all for this idea but I doubt it will happen.

Side B is pretty strong I find - although I'm pretty sure people who say that pushing B to punch early are wrong if they say you land quicker. I'll have to check. Not really sure how to help you, OP, I've yet to run into any spammers

I think that 3 days is nowhere near enough time to start calling characters terrible...
