Relogged into this account just to post my feelings (some of which were already gone over by @BluePikmin11) on why I feel that Jibanyan is (in my opinion) highly likely to be either dlc for smash 4 or even considered in future games, and in typical fashion from myself, I will be numbering them...

I'm still kind of holding on to the slim hope that Shovel Knight gets in. Yacht Club Games was really pushing for it around the start of the ballot, but then again so were a lot devs, since smash has that exposure that a lot of people crave.

Except the Monster Hunter devs are kinda weird with crossovers. Sure they did have the MGS Peace Walker crossover and the million crossovers within the Monster Hunter games, they're actually quite picky with representation. If we ever did get a monster hunter rep, my guess would be a Felyne.

My personal predictions for the next DLC character are pretty good. Prediction 1: Everyone is happy and praises the **** out of Sakurai. Prediction 2: Everyone complains and moans as they make claims about how Sakurai doesn't listen to the fans, but still buy the character.

I tend to not mind the roster after its been assured that the characters I really like continue to be playable.

I can't believe they deconfirmed the bear from Earthbound. I'm so crushed.

Didn't most people who were attached to these characters move onto pikachu and Toon Link respectively though?

I'm not expecting any character announcements after the 3 characters we got last month.

As I said on my long winded post, it's still way too early to expect ballot characters. I'm still holding on to my hope that we'll get 3 characters from the ballot due to the varying tastes of Japan/Asia, USA/America's and Europe/Oceania.

Considering they gave us three last month, It would be kinda surprising to get another so soon. Although a trailer for an in development one would be neat.

Not necessarily, when people bill a character as a front runner or a sure fire winner of the ballot, they fail to remember a lot of things that I will detail below. Polls are not always indicative of the actual results. I.E: when the polls that were conducted on here, reddit, etc, occurred...

assuming the amount of characters that will be post ballot DLC is more than 1-3, I kinda see Inklings having a better chance for smash 5 ( if there is another one/splatoon doesn't bomb )
