    Dthrow -> Foxtrot

I've been practicing around with Marth stuff on my free time and I've discovered something very easy that is underused in my opinion. It works on most of the cast including all non-floaty upper tiers. Tech in place: Either grab it on reaction or if you're too late, dash away and pivot grab from...

Can Marth reaction tech chase falcon

Yes, the MU on paper is actually absolutely horrible for Falcon. Between CC and chaingrabs into utilt, falcon should get 0 deathed every time Marth gets a hit. People just don't play it enough. The best example of how the matchup should go is Dart VS Darkrain. Also, that "0-death" everyone...

    Marth's Side B to Nair

The issue with this is crouch cancel.

    The Optimal Marth Rest Punish

Tipper downsmash is untechable and usually kills sooner than fsmash. The best thing I've ever done to Jigglypuff off rest was: Dair, downtilt, grab, dthrow, pivot fsmash.

    Marth (waveland?) platform movement

Odd. I've never seen anyone actually use this in tourney. Moon comes close with haxdash -> waveland but never goes all the way across the platform.

    Marth (waveland?) platform movement

Across an ENTIRE platform though? Literally one side to the other? I mean literally from the far right (I usually plank right side of stage) all the way off the left side without slowing down.

    Marth (waveland?) platform movement

Hey everyone. I play a little SSBM while studying to keep my mind running when I need a short breather. I've done something I can't quite explain at least twice now, and it's very interesting. I think it could have some tournament use. I'm not sure if this is a known technique or if it's already...

Fox Chaingrab: Pivot Grab Percents on no DI

Hey dude I practice a lot. Here are some tips: People can slight DI inbetween your model starting 16%. So if they go straight up, always pivot grab at 16-29%. You can also continue this until much higher percents. I believe you can even uthrow pivotgrab at 39%, but there are some numbers in the...

Pressing the Advantageous Position with Marth

I just wait and react to what they do. If you hit Falco down you should be able to at best, grab any gettup or at worst Dtilt a shield after roll away. Which dtilting Falco's in specific isn't exactly a bad position for you to be in.

    Marth vs. Puff Discussion

I have to disagree with a lot. It's not hard to combo puff as Marth. It's just different. You can get multiple fairs, nairs, end with an uair. Practically instantly get 50% off fairing their aerial approach. This was shown a lot in PPU vs Hbox. Ftilt is not your only kill move and I don't even...

    Marth's Counter

Great edgeguard in some situations vs some characters such as Fox/Falco. I've seen people VS lower tiers that never utilize counter despite being able to though. Like a Mario that isn't sweetspotting or Link.

    Guide Uair > Fsmash

I think you can uthrow, tipper upair (shorthop upair fastfall l cancel) fsmash Fox guaranteed at 53+%. If you can pivot fsmash this becomes especially deadly. I also think there's some odd percent where you can uthrow, utilt, uair, fsmash. Oh and you know how Falcons have realized that they...

    Marth vs Fox

Think of it this way: Grounded Marth beats Grounded Fox. Aerial Marth beats Aerial Fox. Grounded Fox beats Aerial Marth. Aerial Fox beats grounded Marth (assuming he's shnair at you and all that junk, comes in too fast and can overshoot your DD but this is debatable). Don't get jabbed or...
