Incredible tournament. Some big upsets that I don't think many people were expecting. Great job to all of the players and everyone involved.

I don't really mind. It lets me unlock all the characters I want quicker. Also, I'm pretty sure that the Wii U version will have harder unlock requirements, so don't take these as the unlock requirements for both games. It makes sense to me to have easy unlock requirements on a portable where...

Hype. Can't wait to watch, should be a really good tournament. If there's anyone reading this who wasn't watched a Smash tournament before - definitely watch this. Even if you haven't played Melee, you can still enjoy the amazing spectacle of competitive Smash.

After turning off tap jump, the only problem I have with the control is the lack of C-stick, which is making it difficult to do some smashes. I am adjusting, however, so I should be used to it eventually.

I followed the game after I searched for it like this and now it comes up in my following games directory as a cover-art-less (as in, just a blank white cover, not even the default Twitch one for games that don't have a cover in the directory) 0-viewer game, even though it does have 800 viewer...

I guess this is the last PotD before it comes out in the US, as it will be midnight before tomorrow's PotD. We in Australia still have tomorrow's pic to look forward to before the release though.

For Glory, mostly, though I'll play some For Fun matches to calm down and just chill out after I inevitably get thrashed on For Glory.

I like this change. Maybe now I will play a bit more Zelda/Sheik without the transformation mechanic. I do agree with what others in this thread have said that Sakurai seems to be using the technical limitations excuse for any change that people may not like, however.

I can usually get 2 kills on them per match, sometimes 3 if I'm playing well enough. I definitely like the difficulty of the CPU characters from what I've played so far in the demo. I can get kills on them, so it's not too hard, but it's so easy that I'm just killing them endlessly, either.

I live like 5 minutes away from the store I'm buying it at, so I'll just wait until I get home. Easier than trying to play it in the car, anyway!

Interesting that they chose this day. If Smash 4 comes out here on the same day, then I probably won't end up buying the N3DS day one, but I may buy one after Christmas. Also, I hope Nintendo Australia doing Nintendo Directs becomes a regular thing. We hardly ever hear from the Australian arm...

Pretty much, yeah. There is a hero mode but I believe that's the same game just on a higher difficulty.
