I found this beauty today: To be completely honest, even though she's going to play very similar to Samus, I'm excited for Dark Samus, animations look great and I'm hoping she'll be a little bit faster than regular Samus. Also yes, we have more villains!

Canceling dash into any attack almost entirely replaces wavedashing to be honest, wavedashing was a spacing tool. As for wavelanding, it would be amazing for it to slide off platforms.

I get the feeling we might get Spring Man or Ribbon Girl before launch, they're switch exclusives. And there's no Arms representation in smash at all, despite literally being a Nintendo Switch Fighting game. I believe Chun Li might be possible DLC.

I don't mean to be pessimist, but I doubt Nintendo has announced anything at a 3rd party hosted tournament series. I'm only 10% sure we'll get any announcement whatsoever at Evo.

New mechanics don't need to be about the e-sports crowd. They don't need to be hard to use at all, like the new jump+A giving you an automatic short hop aerial, not only is this useful for some competitive players (shield cancel into upair) but it allows new players to easily do short hop...

Do you guys tend to prefer new content and characters over gameplay changes? I play a smash game for about 3000hours, so I tend to prefer new gameplay mechanics instead of new characters. The faster gameplay of ultimate is making me very excited.

Evo starts today and we're going to get an SSBU exhibition for 6pm PDT tonight. We might see an updated build with more characters. Or provably not. But at least the gameplay looks very good.
