I do think with the early announcement of the Smash Spirit event we're going to get some announcement today (or tomorrow, depending on time zone). Otherwise there would be no point. So either a Direct announcement with a Smash tweet saying "hey, watch that" or a "Smash Special Presentation"...

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we got a teaser for the next mainline games at the very least. I don't know if they would hold a Direct just for Home/Sleep/some spin-off. They have press conferences for those kinds of things

Eh, did we learn much new from the trailer? I guess a new enemy/boss design and that Suda designed this game on acid? Bravely 2: The Second was a solid announcement though. I got one game I'll definitely grab out of the Awards at least.
