  • Hey, I saw your post that you're new to Melee in Melbourne. Definitely check out our facebook page as well as keeping up to date with the Australian regional board.

Lots of meets and smash talk in that group! :D
There's lots of little groups of smashers all over North, West and Eastern suburbs, so you'll never have issues finding practice partners :D

Thanks for letting me know. I'm still just trying to learn all the (I'm sure simple to you guys) technical movement stuff that I can barely do atm, so I probably can't play with anyone for a long time. But if someone showed me a few things that would probably go a long way.

Yeah it's definitely gonna be a lot of work practicing movement and options with a cpu, but once you feel somewhat comfortable with your play, it's definitely worth finding a meet or coming to a tournament. Vsing a wide variety of players is the quickest way to 'get good'. :D

Is there somewhere people play regularly in Melbourne?
