    My forever issue

I am horrible at tilting without forecasting the move from a half mile away. Which sucks because the characters I'm good with have some decent tilt hits. Any suggestions? Also, anyone else have glaring issues with their gameplay that they want suggestions for?

    Taunting For Glory: Your thoughts?

I use taunts often in For Glory to signify not only a good match, but to start a match as if to say "Let's make this a good one." It's (currently) the only form of communication on this game, so that's how I use it. However, since taunting is... taunting, I figure some people will obviously...

Path of Radiance: Ike Guide and Strategy Discussion

Personally it depends. Low %, dthrow into jump- > aerial whatever you want, depending on their input. Mid %, uthrow for the same idea (seems to me that at mid ranges uthrow works better because opponents don't fly as high.) If I'm near an edge though, I throw the opponent off and try to...

Path of Radiance: Ike Guide and Strategy Discussion

Another thing, at low percents it can be avoided, but it's still a lot harder to get around. Still, I find jumping up after the opponent and reacting to their DI to be more effective, and you can get the fullness of Aether or nair, fair, or even bair work well.

Path of Radiance: Ike Guide and Strategy Discussion

So, I have a derpy, extremely situational mid-damage (50-70) combo that depends on the opponent's input, but damn does it feel good to do when it happens. When recovering, I like to, if possible, hit the opponent with aether and come down grabbing the ledge. If done right, this bounces them off...

    A fluke recovery...?

Aah, okay. That makes sense then. Yea, I can see that now. Thanks for the help!

    A fluke recovery...?

EDIT: Never mind, still trying to figure this out. certain things are working, certain things aren't.

    A fluke recovery...?

Actually, I just had a match where this didn't apply. QD to recover, hit Marth, went into helpless mode -> death... So there has to be some factor other than just hitting the opponent.

    A fluke recovery...?

...This is what I get for having a friend test things while I'm at work. >_> Testing it out myself right now, and I see what you mean. Well, that's nice. Feel like deleting the thread now. >.>

    A fluke recovery...?

So something that I have noticed is that, every now and again, when I use QD for Ike's recovery, he can still use Aether to recover afterwards. It doesn't happen all the time, so the only thing I can think of is that there is a clash between him and the other character, and he has priority over...

    Ike vs. (true?) floaters.

I don't think that's quite right, because Jiggs is the one who is doing the zoning in this scenario. She can just poke and prod at Ike because he's so slow in comparison, and I feel like in a fight against a smaller character like her, his ground game just doesn't cut it--meanwhile, she has...

Data Prepare Yourself (Ike Match-up thread)

I haven't played enough good Bowser Jrs., but I feel as if a good, strong rushdown filled with aerials is the best approach. While he's cannon-charging, doll tossing, or just trying to play general keepaways, he is vulnerable and easily punishable. Ike has a better airgame, especially when it...

    Ike vs. (true?) floaters.

So I've only played one of each which were good, but the losses I suffered made me think, how would you deal with ultra floaty characters like Peach and Jiggly? My biggest issue is that they can move in air quick enough to get out of range of Ike's slow swings in and out of the air, then they...

    One thing that irks me...

I hope so? I can't get to Smash right now so... EDIT: Nope, never mind. Can't do it.
