  • hey, i see you're relativley new to these boards, so i've decided to offer you some tips that could extraordinarily help your gameplay (i save all the replays i can, so that i can critique myself later, using the vids from when i played you, i was able to figure some things out) To begin with, some major things that deserve your immediate attention are 1. always watch your opponents character first, and your own second (if you follow this rule you will find yourself dodging many more attacks, and potentially even noticing patterns in your foe's play style) 2. learn proper DI (directional influence) there is a lot to be said for DI, i suggest you do a search on it. (in short, it will leave you surviving to much higher %'s) Some minor things that i noticed are 1. MK's side B is only really useful if you are attempting to recover straight to the ledge with it (avoid it for the most part) 2. when you are using MK, and you get an opponent offstage (especially snake) always chase! (dont just immediatly grab the ledge)
i guess in a way this is a long way of saying "welcome to the boards" anyway, hope to play you again soon, and i hope you enjoy smashboards as much as i do :)
