Honest question, why do people still care about single player content so much?

Switch's online isn't going anywhere for at least 5+ years (I could be wrong and they could come out with a new console and a new Smash sooner than I think). Ultimate alone will keep the online going past the system's "death" most likely, at least until there's a new Smash game on a new console...

    Official Competitive Character Impressions 2.0

You made a post and in my opinion didn't offer sufficient evidence to why you think those things so I simply asked for that evidence and stated why I think Ness is better. I did not come at you personally in anyway nor attack you. If you feel attacked that's not my problem. I based my analysis...

Ok what specific reasons do you have that Lucas is better than Ness? So you've fought Ness more times so he's not going to have "tricks" anymore because you've seen him more than Lucas. Ness has results, a kit I highlighted just a few pages ago so I'm not gonna write the same things over again...

Honest question, why do people still care about single player content so much?

But like I've said multiple times this isn't about the competititive scene. This is about the fact that even casual players play mostly with other people and their friends. I was a casual smash player for years until half way through Brawl or so and I never played a ton of single player Smash...

This game causes me self loathing and genuine anger and sadness. Not april fools.

Please take an inventory of your life because this isn't about smash. Feel free to message me if you need to talk to somebody, I've been through similar situations

Honest question, why do people still care about single player content so much?

Yeah I get where that's coming from. I mean I've been playing Smash since 64 and Subspace was kind of a footnote for me. Glad it happened once but if we never get another one that's fine with me. However I think Nintendo could make a ton of money on a Subspace DLC/spin off expansion

Honest question, why do people still care about single player content so much?

Yeah I probably did. I enjoyed Subspace also but I know what they would've had to sacrifice to fit another Subspace in. I would be down for Subspace spin off or DLC in the future. I just don't understand why it's some people's sticking point with the game. It's just something I was thinking...

Honest question, why do people still care about single player content so much?

I'm not arguing prioritizing competive players over casual players at all. But the balancing on competive play will benefit competive players and won't even affect the casual player. So why not give the competive players maticulus balancing? It's not like Ultimate didn't introduce an entire...

Honest question, why do people still care about single player content so much?

I'm not saying that Smash should prioritize one player base over the other at all but I'm willing to bet the casual player base cares way more about having a ton of characters, stages, songs, fan service and super fun multiplayer over a single player experience. Neither fighting games nor party...

I think Squirtle is really underrated and his combo and damage racking game is up there with anyone in the game. Yeah he can't kill but he doesn't need to with Ivysaur and Charizard. He's so good at getting a quick 60-70% damage in and then he synergizes great with Ivy when you switch in for the...

Honest question, why do people still care about single player content so much?

And I completely understand that. I love to play competively and when it boils down to it Smash is a fighting game with party elements and a super broad appeal and different ways to play which is great. I love a good free for all with items on as much as the next guy. I understand people enjoy...

Honest question, why do people still care about single player content so much?

Ok so I've heard a ton of complaints about the lack of single player content in the game, and don't get me wrong I would love break the targets, homerun contest, and a stage builder, but it's not all that important. I honestly could do without another subspace it was a cool add on but that's not...

Unpopular Smash Ultimate Opinions! - Read the OP before Posting

Even after the honey moon phase is over I still think this game has the potential to be the best competive smash game of all time (it's obviously Melee now but Ultimate is a new game still). Also I disagree with the a lot of pros hating on the game lately. I think a lot of these opinions are...

I mean Gackt and Abadango were there but I don't think it's a huge deal. R.O.B is a good character and it just shows how much good fundamentals carry over to almost every character in this game

    Snake MU Thread

Hit the nail on the head with the Ness MU. Snake has a terrible time landing against Ness and Ness can juggle him with both PKT and uair and even score sneaky kills off the top early. Ness does have a easy time edge guarding Snake and Snake wants to be on the ground almost 100% of the time...
