Not gonna lie, I miss these forums being super active. Feels too hard to have meaningful discussion on Discord a lot of the time thanks to all the people typing at once. Oh well, no stopping progress I suppose.

Wow wee. I haven't been in here in forever. Forums still semi-dead?

No one knows for sure, but maintenance is happening in like an hour and a half. There's a fair chance the patch will drop afterwards. No guarantees, though.

I actually prefer forums as well, but it seems like Smashboards as a whole is kinda dying and there's not much that can be done about it :/

Thing is, the forums are dead as a rock. Discord is hopping with conversations every day, so that's the place to be for Lucas discussion.

@Mekos Are you in the Lucas discord, by chance? Really appreciate the content you put out, but these boards are hilariously dead. You'd get a lot more exposure over there.

I feel like Duck Hunt is decisively in Lucas's favor. We can both zone, but Lucas can actually kill, and Duck Hunt is literally easier to gimp than Little Mac.

Hm, let's talk about stages. How would you all rate Lucas's stages from best to worst in general? Mine would be Town and City, Final Destination, Smashville, Dreamland, Battlefied, Lylat Cruise, Duck Hunt

I personally don't think Sheik is too bad. I'd put it as 6:4 at the very worst. Cloud and Sonic I'd say are Lucas's two worst match ups, and for me the third spot is a tie between Diddy and Rosalina.

I've played Lucas and Sonic for about a year now. I personally think Sonic is one of Lucas's worst match ups (not as bad as Cloud tho). Both characters want to camp, but Sonic camps much better, and PK Fire is punishable on reaction if Sonic runs up and blocks, unless you wave bounce it every...

On the bright side, we do have a fast, safe move that links into our grab at kill percents (Dtilt). I don't think that can be said for any other tether grab character.
