    She isn't very good...

It's definitely too early to tell, but I believe that at their most optimal play, bayonetta is a lot more frightening than corrin due to their skill caps. It might be a little hard to pull off, but if you land a d tilt or a hold side b at around 50% they're pretty much dead if you pull off the...

Bayonetta Combo & Followup Thread! [WIP]

Aside from d throw jab, are there any other grab combos? I find that if they DI away almost nothing is guaranteed out of any throw. Up throw up air is something I've been fiddling with but I feel that it takes too long to combo even if you do reverse your up air (hitting with the earlier part)...

Use for extended dash dancing ?

Just like with any character, extended dash dancing's greatest benefits lie in its ability to play spacing mindgames without leaving the ground. For example, if you predict bowser will drop kick you with f smash, you can dash out of its range, and then quickly dash back in for a punish. Along...

What are the applications of Mario's f-tilt and d-tilt?

Against heavies who have taken a little damage (like 10%) or sometimes even none at all, d throw can lead into d tilts, which lead into regrabs. Rinse, repeat until you can't regrab, and start the up air juggles. F tilt I don't use much but if you're on the retreat against someone who spams a...

    Stale Move numbers/timing?

Moves must connect (i.e. deal damage to opponents) to be entered in the staling queue, that contains the 9 most recent moves that you have landed on an opponent, with 1 being the most recent, and 9 being the oldest. When the queue is full and another move connects, the oldest move, 9, on the...

    Mario vs the heavies?

Yea, bowser is a monster now... Perhaps landing behind him is the safest bet, or just spacing bair. Even then, landing behind him can still get punished by up b OoS if you're not careful. Frightening.

    Mario vs the heavies?

Most heavyweight characters lack an aerial to break combos (e.g. frame three aerials like Luigi nair), so down throw shenanigans work starting from even 0% on some of them. My main low percent damage comes from three or so D throw > 2 D tilt > regrab, because someone like bowser doesn't have a...

    1.1.3 Patch Notes Discussion

Bowser can now do up throw to up air, killing at around 90% without rage. Hoo hah on THIS guy? They've turned him into a tru monster.

Any Good Combos For Mega Man?

If are holding a Metal Blade, SH-DJ, throw Metal Blade down, and dair can connect for a nasty spike hit confirm. A lil hard to do but super satisfying. On a somewhat unrelated note this works for Link and ROB too, with their respective items.

    Q&A Diddy's Q&A + Competitive Development - ASK QUESTIONS HERE

While dash attack IS one of diddy's ground-to-air conversion tools, it's quite laggy and easy to punish, and given his mobility he can opt for other moves that achieve the same result without being punished as hard or that have a smaller window to punish (falling nair, a dash grab, maybe up...

    I've made a list of Yoshi's TRUE/POSSIBLE combos

*Because of the 3DS 1.04 patch rendering replays from previous versions unplayable, I don't really have a solid example of this being a true combo, but it was against a lvl 9 pikachu* I found at that time that late Nair -> Fair spike connected successfully at around 85%, and because it was a...

Is it just me or does Fox's fair seem nerfed?

This alone is enough reason for me to like fair, sure it's not so godly anymore but now you can do things like up tilt > ff fair > repeat for cool looking combos (though teching will get them out of it ofc)

    Fox Compilation Combo/Video Thread - (Early/In Progress)

Note that it might not always KO reliably until you start at like 105%+, which is the main purpose of setting up the Up Smash. Unless the opponent has bad DI, the low angle of Nair's knockback will cause them to hit the ground, allowing for a chance to tech out of the setup until even higher...
