Important Carefully Ask PPMD about the Tiara Guy

Yo PP. Glad to hear in your interview that you've been feeling better. I've got a question on CC (dash) grab. I see you and other top Marth's implement this a lot, and it's something I'm definitely lacking right now. I've been trying to get this motion into "muscle memory" and I visually...

Important Carefully Ask PPMD about the Tiara Guy

Hiya @Dr Peepee ! Not sure if this has talked been talked about yet. I've been watching some Zain vs sheik lately, and noticed that he'll often use a SH in place + late dair as a defensive option. See - http://bit.ly/2fO9D2I & http://bit.ly/2fOarop. Since the SH dodges Sheik's grab and dash...

    Hello guys!

Hey Blea, super cool videos. Your movement is always fun to watch. I just wanted to ask you about your use of WD turnaround-shieldstop, and was wondering what situations you find it useful. Just a spacing tool? Are you looking for some sort of reaction from the opponent? Keep it up dude

Pivot out of Wavedash - Is this good?

@tauKhan Thanks for clarifying dude, and that diagram is great. Explains why I can only do empty pivots at 1/2 speed, but I'll try out your method. Also I read up on your ZPS discovery, sweet stuff!

Pivot out of Wavedash - Is this good?

I can't for the life of me pivot an f-tilt. They'd be so good, but I always just mess up and of course do a dash attack... But I've been trying out pivot downsmash and upsmash, and they're a lot easier to implement. WD forward > dash backwards > forward pivot d-smash would allow you to space...

No tumble after falling back in shield on a plateform?

I watched a few times in 1/4 speed and I agree with what tauKhan says. It looks like eddy inputted a jump OOS, but Luigi slides off the platform during the jump-squat animation before he actually jumps, so no tumble. My question would be if he did this on purpose. Cause that'd be absolutely...

Tips for luigi down b tornado to recovery

When I tornado, I vibrate my thumb almost like a spasm rather than a mash. That works pretty well for me, but do whatever is comfortable. It's gotta be fricken fast, just takes practice. I'd also read through the frame data posted a few days ago, cool and useful. I know Vudujin switches to his...

    Video critique

All of what you said makes sense. So I just have to get in the habit of making grab the first priority, and then let the harder punishes come when they don't feel safe in shield anymore and try to act out, like you mentioned. Right now watching myself it looks like I just have that backwards...

    Video critique

Eddy: - Yeah my grab game is lackluster, somethin to work on! - Congrats on making the PR, but now I'm coming for ya. - Kordell's a big boy, dude does what he wants. Stride: Thanks for the analysis. I'm seeing many of the things you mentioned, and I think my lack of grabs as punishes has a...

    Video critique

What's up luigi boards. So my friend and I recorded a few matches the other day, and I'd love to get some advice on my game. Any comments good or bad are super appreciated, thanks! In youtube (sorry, can't post links yet) /watch?v=9c7AoWzHGDs - (vs Falco) /watch?v=s3GBLWZDtFI - (vs Falco)...
