Does it evade grabs or something? Or do you mean to keep people away who are charging in?

I notice Palutena Down tilt is the only move which I never use for some reason. I know that you can shield quickly after, but I feel more comfortable using Jab and F tilit to keep opponents out. In what situations should I be using Down tilt? Feels like im missing out on maximising this...

Yeah Down smash is really unreliable for this. Thanks guys I will try Up Tilt for forward rolls, Down Tilt and Jab.

So I have no problem dealing with roll spammers with my other main, DK, thanks to Down B. Palutena however, I just cant punish roll spam even when I know its coming. I have tried Down Smash and that never works. I have had some success with Short Hop Down Air but even that doesn't always work...

Cool. A couple of questions about this: 1. How comes you cannot catch these with the throw button? Im sure in Melee you could catch thrown items this way. 2. Do all characters have ways of doing this, or is this unique to DK?

I was playing against Megaman with DK, and I accidentally caught his spinning blade projectile with Neutral Air (the spinning knuckle move). I then proceeded to throw it back at him. So then I went into training mode to test this out and it definitely works.
