It's scary once you notice the changes. T^T It blocked me a little, then I stopped playing Smash 4 entirely.
For Smash 4 I'm conflicted. I love Dark Link as an alt so much but I also love Fierce Deity Link. Maybe I'll go with both!
I'm starting to improve at a far quicker pace than I was anticipating. I can see my playstyle shifting as I attempt to find a new balance.
Seriously contemplating Young Link for Melee. Playing Melee will hopefully improve my lackluster Project M fundamentals.
Made it out of pools for EXP9. That was my main goal. Just need to stay focused. Practice spacing more as well.
Hey man, are you planning to attend EXP this weekend?

Yes sir. I'm normally a regular now at EXP on Wednesdays and I'll definitely be there for Exposure 9.

Awesome! Since my schedule permits ill be there myself. Chef maybe going as well, and will provide me a place to stay for the weekend. Making it easier for me too travel. Are you thinking of doing doubles?
Didn't do so hot in bracket this week. Oh well. Got good training. Happy to know my new Link strats are viable. I'll need them Saturday.
Hey I got a question. Where can you search for tournaments/events happening around chicago? Btw im the dude you had a brief talk to at WW. Right after I played that dude who was a little salty

Click the events tab at the top of the screen. You can choose to search by each week, each month, or archived events. I usually do it by each week. There's also a group called the Chicago land Melee group where they post events up there as well. Unfortunately there's no easier search engine based on your location.

*the group I spoke of is on Facebook.
I cannot express how much I've improved solely from switching to the GameCube controller. I've missed this controller.
The depth of Smash Mechanics continues to amaze me. Each thing. L-canceling and short hopping are powerful when combined with wavedashing.
Just got my brand new GameCube controller. Still need the adapter. I've learned consistent wavedashing, L-canceling, and some teching.
Although I'm new to smashboards I've been playing Smash for a long time. Don't be fooled. I'm quite the force to be reckoned with.
Haha, well I sure do hope you visit EXP @ Oak Park sometime then. We have quite a few Link mains. :)

Sweet dude. I'm really looking forward to seeing where I place in terms of skill in the Chicago community. I'll definately be sure to make it down there sometime!
