Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

I had this problem at one point too. Not sure what I did to solve it though. It might've been making sure the spoofed controller was on the correct player, or maybe it was deleting the save file. Or maybe I didn't solve it, chalked it up as just a Dolphin thing, and used versus mode only. I'll...

So yes, the latter is correct.

    Gamecube Controller anolog stick mod

I want to bump this and ask if anyone has done this method. If it's fairly easy in actual practice to get from the cardinal notches to the added notches, this seems so good it should be mandatory.

Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

Mine defaults to Master and I think that's what it says in the OP, so go with that one if you want to turn of the debug features. That reminds me that I forgot to mention a third option, you can turn off the 20XX In-Game Code Toggles on the same screen, which will allow you to use just the debug...

Official The 20XX Melee Training Hack Pack (v5.0.2 - 1/20/2023)

I know it's been a couple weeks, so maybe you've figured it out already, but I don't think this has been answered so I'll take a stab. It sounds like you have the DBLEVEL set to Develop, which turns on the normal debug controls as well. He mentioned in the OP that this can interfere with the...

    Lucas General Discussion

Okay, that makes perfect sense now. So in summary: Ideally, you should not reverse any momentum during recovery, because you'd only be reversing your own efforts toward stage, not the momentum given to you from being knocked away. Furthermore, magnets should maximally be done at a rate of once...

    Lucas General Discussion

Your description is of magnet only reversing momentum you yourself have created. Is it not possible to have it work off other momentum? I think the point I was getting as was that I was still moving horizontally away from the stage (while DIing towards it of course) but I get to a point when I...

    Lucas General Discussion

I'll have to keep an eye out to see if it happens again, because I swear I've seen my character get a sudden boost away from the stage after being knocked very far when I magnet out of tumble as soon as I regain control of my character—aka, from knockback. That timing is pretty cool to know...

    Lucas General Discussion

I don't think I've seen this discussed before, but when using magnet to recover, I've noticed that it's possible to do a wavebounced (or at least the momentum equivalent) magnet during higher flight distances. In the same situation, you can also do a simple b-reversed magnet, in which case it...

    Neon's Match-up Discussion

I was getting wrecked at this matchup until I stopped going all aggro and played defensively to start combos.

    3.02 Jump Squat Data

Oh my, thanks for this. Also, I think I found what is creating the variation. Brawlbox is indeed giving different data than what they obtained in that Roy thread. They used PSA, and it shows the jump startup as 4, like @ShadowGanon said. I'll link this PM 3.0 data in the OP.

    3.02 Jump Squat Data

Thanks for posting that. This brings up some red flags for me. I'm not lying when I say this is exactly what I'm looking at: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xydnlx41qlql13y/Screenshot 2014-05-31 12.33.23.png Note the 6 in the bottom right corner.

    3.02 Jump Squat Data

Well that's odd, cause I got that one directly from brawlbox v0.68b, and I'm looking at it right now. If brawlbox is misreporting the data, then that might confound a lot of the other data I found.

*Edit* Go here instead: http://smashboards.com/threads/p-m-3-0-statistics-list-shff-speed-weight-falling-speed-etc.335019/ I'll update this just in case, though (and I included Giga Bowser):

Power to The Princess: Peach Topics. This week: SECONDARIES

Going off of that, I like to jump back up, catch, and AGT down throw it towards them again, all in the same motion. It's actually decent shield pressure when done well because of how fast it happens and because you're still at a small distance away.
