Just now I played against a Greninja. He spammed neutral B and rolled away when I got close. No stocks were lost and he won the SD. Then he changed his name to "HAHAHAHA", then "CANT WIN" and then "POOR GUY." In the next match he did the same with Pikachu. I'm not even mad, I'm just amazed...

You're overanalysing this. Unsymmetric layouts doesn't mean DLC. Not everyone agrees that things has to be perfectly symmetric to look good.

Unless you're a hardcore collector, open it. It's your figure and you should have fun with it.
