Haha very cool. I remember the good ol' SSB days. I was too young to actually choose a main and be competitive. Link was the very first character I picked up in SSBM as well, but I switched to Marth due to peer pressure. Now I'm back with Link, but disappointed that he's still low tier. My goal is to improve his metagame. Hope you will be awesome with Pit later on. He has a few useful tricks for mindgaming.
hm... well, I got Brawl on Sept. 1, and I am a fan of the Zelda series, so he was the first character that I used, which means I've been maining him for about 3 months. How long have you been maining your chars? It must have taken a long time to get used to so many characters

ah... all good characters to main. I main Link, Ike, then Marth in that order. We should brawl some timeOh! I used to, but I got flamed alot by my [real] freinds for not using his infinite. They said I "wasn't tapping his potential" or something like that. I'm a very casual gamer, so I don't care for infinites or ay "advanced" techniques. On New Years my freind (who's Pretty good) asked me who I'd for him to "teach me to use." I chose Captain Falcon. NOt until we werre done did he tell me he was the "worst" character in the whole game. Oh well. At least I can say I main Captain Falcon.
So, In short, no. I main CF. And it didn't work out for me! lol
