Can't Teach An Old Dog... A Thread of Tips and Tricks for Duck Hunt

DH is invincible during the frames of his Dthrow and Fthrow while he swings his head back. This opens up possibilities for using the can to rack up a little extra damage while executing throw combos. One method I've developed involves setting up a can directly behind DH by the time he has...

    Why Use a Bad Character?

-Which bad character do you play? I've tried out almost all of these characters at one time or another, but I mostly play as Ganon, Mario, Fox, and occasionally Ike. -Do you think your character is bad? Ganon? Naturally, but I don't believe he deserves as much notoriety as he gets. Mario...

    Lordy's Captain Falcon Metagame Guide

I just love how he organizes everything in a way so that [for the most part] you don't have to keep scrolling to find something you want

Mario's Metagame Analysis (Updated as of 3/06/2010)

Can't believe he forgot RAR with B-Air. Whether or not someone said that already, I don't care; I really don't feel like looking through 25 pages to check.

How to Use DDD's Moveset to the Fullest

B-Air is great for punishing edge-hoggers. It always has resulted in the death of the opponent whenever I've done it.

    Match-up Discussion: Bowser

Whenever I D-Air a Bowser, I always follow up with a D-Smash or a Reflector (if the move ends on the ground or in mid-air, respectively.) I get quite a few gimps with a D-Air>Reflector off-stage, especially if the opponent falls beneath the actual stage.

Got a question? We've got answers! Check out the OP for FAQs!

Actually, I think Vayseth said that DK's infinite CG ha something to do with the timing of the re-grab in relation to the end of the throw, but that might not be true. Thanks for the help anyway. Oh, and I didn't even realize "Forever Forgotten" was the name of something else, so my name being...

Got a question? We've got answers! Check out the OP for FAQs!

For some reason, when chainbrabbing DK, he keeps escaping from my grab range. I can do a walking chaingrab, and an infinite against a wall, but a standing chaingrab is what I'm having trouble with. It might be the timing, but I doubt it because I can shieldgrab>D-Throw without the shielding or...

Ganondorf Board's Question & Answer Thread.

Occasionally, a D-Tilt doesn't work after a Flame Choke. Is there a reason for this?

**The NEW competitive guide to Jigglypuff**

Well, I guess someone must have changed it AFTER I looked at it, because I even double-checked to make sure that the information stated that Squirtle and Mr. Game & Watch were lighter because I was surprised to see that.

    Thy List Da Ganondorf Mains

Name: Forever Forgotten Location: Uh, US FC: Not sure at the moment, will post back later E-Mail: I'd rather have no one stalking me Color: Brown Favorite Move: D-Air Sexual Preference: Not sure what that means Alongside DDD and Mario, I'd consider Ganon my "third main" for friendly...

Tips and Tricks for the Discerning Mario

By the way, I know there are many, many more tricks to using Mario. Remember that this is a beginner's guide, not an expert's guide. And, a lot of things have to be experimented with; it's impossible for everyone to learn everything.

**The NEW competitive guide to Jigglypuff**

Actually, Jigglypuff is not the lightest character. Both Mr. Game and Watch and Squirtle are lighter than her. (Just thought I'd point that out.) Great job on the guide, though. :)

Tips and Tricks for the Discerning Mario

Here are my tips for those who are new to Mario and are considering him as a main. If you're an experienced Mario player, you might find this tips useless to you. But if you're inexperienced, I'd recommend you take a look. Some Good Tips: 1. Be Relentless - Never stand still in a match...
