Chula Vista/San Diego Smash Presents: The Gauntlet April 28th

@Mog: Sorry for the late notice, had work all day. If they wanna pay $30 each out of the kindness of their appreciative hearts, they're more than welcome to as my friend (le driver) doesn't have a job so I'm sure he'd happily accept the money, haha. But otherwise like 15-20 (depends if Natch...

Chula Vista/San Diego Smash Presents: The Gauntlet April 28th

If they can have $30 for gas, we can stop by Havok's at like 8am and take them up with us :) and one of them will be slightly cramped in the back-middle seat =/

Chula Vista/San Diego Smash Presents: The Gauntlet April 28th

It's Hoffman. My friend and I plan to go to SCSA. We're picking up Natch, he lives in Poway. If anybody else needs a ride, we have two free spots, though (sorry guys) we're not gonna go too far out of our way to pick anybody up, and you will need to pitch a little money for gas. If you live near...

Quick question- when/where is Quiznos? I might be able to make it to that (or SCSA), depends on the girl's schedule though. Thanks :)

    Simple DR implementation...

Hey Socks xD You'll have to check out my Yoshi next time I see ya at a weekly, he's pretty much turned into my secondary to Diddy, I have too much fun playing him. Maybe it'll do better against your Mario and I won't get bananas caped in my face again, haha. Not so simple, but when my...

    Simple DR implementation...

Whenever I find myself in a situation where I'll get a jab off on the opponent, directly afterward I dash-DR towards the opponent and jab again. This will usually catch the opponent off guard the first couple times; once they learn how to punish it through shield, then you can switch it up with...

    secondaries?

GaW is probably your best bet for a strategic second character. Helps against Olimar/Falco/Luigi. Honestly though, I think Diddy is a perfectly capable main that doesn't need any secondaries. Use whatever character you find enjoyable to play. My personal secondary is Yoshi, DR-ing everywhere is...

    Neat aerial spacing trick...

That's what I figured, good to know :)

    Neat aerial spacing trick...

Check the video at 1:47, he cancels the peanut gun within the first few frames of it coming out (not sure how, need to test it out when I have the time). @Player-1: Just look for some threads in Tactical on wave-bouncing, I'd dig em up but I'm lazy.

    Neat aerial spacing trick...

Commented about it but figured I'd bring it to attention here as well. He gains aerial momentum from his monkey flip so he can wave bounce his peanut gun to adjust his spacing. Not game breaking or anything, but in some situations it might allow Diddy to create a safe landing opportunity...
