I think it's happened to me once when I tried it in the US version, I remember Dedede throwing a capsule but items were off. Obviously I just thought it was a glitch and ignored it but now I can say it's possible. It's probably just a very slim thing like "tripping" is suppose to be.

Toon Link acctually can't be unlocked by beating Classic with Link right away. I tried many times but people said you have to complete SSE first and return to the 'Forest Area' after completion.

I still don't understand why Nintendo didn't see themselves that tripping might cause some people to get angry. An option to turn it off should have been added, but too late for that now.

I've done 30 random battles so far on Wifi. 2 lagged out really, really badly, it took 10 minutes until it unfroze itsself, then the second one I just got disconnected. About 3 were slightly laggy and slow input time for moves but the others were as fast as a normal multiplayer brawl. So...

I had the same error but I just kept trying a few times everyone 10 minutes or so, it got working. I think try to go online at non busy hours and you should be able to go through.

Melee Mains: Yoshi, Pikachu, Fox. Brawl mains: Falco, Pokemon Trainer/squirtle/ivysaur/charizard, and Pikachu but I'm having way more fun with the first two. I still have alot to try/test out. But so far, I think those three will be my main.

I'm having alot of trouble with Olimar, Snake and Yoshi. Yoshi was my main in Melee but for some reason I just can't handle him right in Brawl. I'd love to use Olimar and Snake but they seem kind of difficult to control for me.

I had a problem starting up but it seems to work okay now. The loading times aren't extremely horrible. Really, just have some patience and enjoy the fancy visuals.

Online battles could use a little more work, that was my only complaint. I love the visuals and gameplay, nothing really bugs me except maybe a few voices.

I think Pokemon Trainer is a ton of fun and so is Yoshi and Pikachu just like in Melee, I'm having a little trouble getting used to Fox again and Olimar is really hard for me to control but I really want to use him.

I thought it wouldn't work for me but you just have to keep trying, it works eventually.

The chances ARE low. It doesn't happen to everyone but there are a few unfortunate people who have had the US Brawl not work on American Wii's.

I don't know, I'm a person who doesn't mind repitition, i.e. Pokemon, Dynasty Warriors. I guess the main purpose was the shiny visuals and your favorite game stars interacting. Although I'll have to see for myself when I get the game.

You shouldn't be though... it's suppose to be a very slim chance thing. I think we are just incredibly unlucky?
