Devil May Plop

Hey there, my name is Jordan. I'm sixteen years of age on the month of September, so I barely beat Fall to my birth; ironic, considering I was supposed to be born in October rather than September.

As you probably guessed, I like to play video games. Why would I be in a forum dedicated to a crossover fighter otherwise? I also like movies, music, or any combination of those three: movies of games, soundtracks of games, or even soundtracks of movies. They're all pretty swell.

Things I hope to see myself doing in the future is something in the entertainment biz. Specifically, I'd like to be an actor, voice actor, writer, or animator. I'm on the way to becoming at least two of those already; I've acted several times in the past and I'm currently writing a story called Truth and Contradiction! I'm really proud of it; the story is something that I don't think I've ever seen done, so I thought: "Hey, why not give it a whirl?" Also, for a few of my shows, I've been told that I've stolen them from the other actors, and I always feel so flattered...! My favorite show that I've been in is called Exit The Body. It's hilarious, and I was cast into the role of Vernon Cookley. It was great!

My favorite game of all time is probably something that you haven't heard of. It's called Resonance Of Fate, also known as End Of Eternity in it's original Japanese release. I loved everything about it: the characters, the admittedly heavily veiled but still really good plot, the gameplay, the music, I loved it to death. As for favorite movie or song? I don't have a favorite for either, but my favorite band is KISS. They rock and roll all night, and party everyday. I dig that.

You know what really gets me in things? Sad moments. Like, Aerith's famous death in Final Fantasy VII, various parts of MOTHER 3, things like that. Of course, too much sadness isn't good, so some laughs are always essentials.

Just between you and me, dear reader, I don't care a whole lot for myself. I mean, people seem to like me, so I must be doing something right, but eh. Whatever.

I'm sure you're wondering: "Jordan! Where did Almost But Not Quite come from?" Well, whenever a friend and I play something and I lose just barely, he said "You almost had me there! But, well, not quite," or some variation. But no matter the variation, those four words always stuck, so I decided to name my account after them. Almost Certainly Quite So came into being because that's what @Izayoi requested me to change it to. It grew on me, so I kept it. Thanks Iz! Meanwhile, The Plop Of The Takumi came from a video made by Obsidian Wasp on YouTube that was a parody of Fire Emblem Fates' climactic chapter 6 where you choose the path. Takumi plopped. I changed it to that as an experiment to see if people payed attention to carry aim things about a user such as NNID, sig, etc.. A lot of people really do pay attention! NonSpecificButNotQuite came from me joining a non specific army, and now Lythien is just a name I came up with with the help of a certain ex-mod.

Wanna know who I main in Smash? I don't see why you'd care, but I'll tell you! The guy who can decimate armies by himself, Ike! The Mary Sue with the cool coat, Robin! Lil' Depression himself, Lucas! The bro who will KILL YOU(!!!!), Shulk! The hero who does jack diddly squat for the plot, Ryu! If Goku was a human, Cloud! The other Mary Sue with a cool sword and dragon powers, Corrin! And the closest I'll get to having Dante from the Devil May Cry series in Smash, Bayonetta! Eeeyup, that's about it, I think.
