My Thoughts On Third Party Companies:
Capcom: Ryu & Mega Man, No need for further representation just yet, though if we were able to get a third representative from a new series my bets are on the following; Monster Hunter, Phoenix Wright or Amaterasu.
Namco: Pac-Man, Yeah Namco Bandai definitely needs another representative thrown in the mix, they are one of the smash developers afterall, one of the following would suffice: Heihachi Mishima, Solaire of Astora, Nightmare or Lloyd Irving.
SEGA: Sonic & Bayonetta, not the best representatives in all honesty, Sonic is a no brainer and the mascot of SEGA, but lately Bayonetta feels more like a Nintendo character than a SEGA IP, as a result I would welcome a character more synonymous with SEGA nowadays like the following; AiAi, Alex Kidd, Akira Yuki or Axel Stone.
Konami: Solid Snake & Simon Belmont (w/Richter Belmont), Solid representation here and no real need for another rep accept for maybe an echo for Solid Snake in the form of Liquid Ocelot.
Square Enix: Cloud Strife; like Namco Bandai this third-party definitely needs more representation due to their support of the Switch and if we were to add Characters from other Square Series I wouldn't mind seeing the following; Lara Croft, Sora or Slime. (Though I secretly want another Final Fantasy Rep in the form of Black Mage or Sephiroth).

-Bethesda w/Doomguy
-Ubisoft w/Rayman or Rabbids
-Microsoft w/Banjo-Kazooie or Steve?
-Activision w/Crash Bandicoot or Spyro
-Suda51 w/Travis Touchdown
