Well, I haven't played melee at all in two months, but Y. Link is still my main.
I wish they still had the PnT tourneys... I haven't played anyone who is actually good in like 7 months. All my friends are 16 & 17-year-olds who suck. >_>

Dude, you don't need to show vids of yourself to get respect and so on. Take me for example, no one's ever seen any vids of me and that's probably a good thing (I'm the first to admit that).
There are a few ways to do it though, from what I've seen. You can do really well in tourneys and post results/vids. You can test stuff and try to advance the metagame. You can be a troll (not recomended but some people seem to get by like this). You can post ineligently in things like matchup discussions and move set discussions. Hell, you can make your own thread and if it kicks off and ends up getting a lot of attention, well there you go (as for what the thread is about, well that's up to you. It's a bit of a gamble though so make sure you know what you're talking about).
It all depends on what you're best at. Me personally, I prefer the technical stuff and advancing the metagame, but it's not easy.
So what do you think? I mean there's bound to be other ways to do it, but did any of them catch your eye?
Never heard it put quite like that before, but I know what you mean XD. Normally it's without the santa hat, but ever since I added it for the christmas period, I kinda like it better. It's gonna be a sad day when I take the hat off.
i played FB more than any other team. i played with carbon from time to time. not really ripp'n. and the other wasn't a team back then i believe.
I could out bxr walshy more than not. we both claw'd but i play on 10 sensitivity, so i had the edge.
yeah, i was a 10 sens, inverted, south pawed and claw player. haha. i still have one of the ogres old accounts on my xbl FL. haha.
in halo 2, once i got into mlg. i never played MM unless it was hardcore. I played with the best that i could at the moment of time. I ended up playing with the best teams. the twins, karma, ghandi. all the top rated players.
customs is where you will learn as well as hardcore. I'd advise to claw. It is amazing once you master it.
there isn't a halo community like smash community. halo is all about xbl and if anything else. lan's. sad i know.
actually i've only played halo 3 no more than 10 times, but i carry my team every time when i do play. ha.
definition of pro? uh. i was one of the top best players in halo 2. I played with the best pros in the world daily and would do very well.
