Actually, I found a way to me that makes it alot easier to do. Set your specials to L, and use the X to jump. I always had a problem doing the analog stick and B button at the same time because they were using seperate hands. It's alot easier using one hand to PK fire.

I been workin' on it, and once you get a rhythm going it comes pretty natural. I tried it with short hopping and it works pretty good . So, a short hop to aerial, to zap jump should be possible, but it'll take some work. I've yet to try it for recovery though.

Anybody else love Lucas, but has alot of trouble getting good with him?

It didn't stop me with using Sheik. Ain't gonna stop me with using Lucario.

He seems pretty good, but the main thing going against him is his lack of KO moves. That is a pretty big hold back though.

I suppose you're going to want a more in depth reason why I say this. Because Lucario's recovery is amazing. He's a lil' floaty, but his up b is fast, and has pretty good range. Also, he has a wall cling, and unlike Metaknight, he has moves with KO potential and can rack up damage. I still love...

You don't know alot about Lucario. Because his moves, and stats were basically made to **** to Metaknight. Don't believe me? Go to the Lucario subforum and look at the threads.

I know, I thought he was going to be top tier before I found out about alot of the knockback, and extra stuff he has going for him. He always was my favorite pokemon.

I knew Lucario was going to be a badass, and this just confirmed it for me. He's the way Mewtwo should've been in melee.

I can see that wall cling being a very instrumental part to playing with him. I can't wait til March 9th' to test him out.

From what I've been seeing and hearing the majority of Lucario's moves do like 10%+ and on top of that are fluid and fast. So, I wanted to know are there any real negatives to him? And does his FS auto-target an opponent or do you move it where you want it to attack?

Not really, it is completely possible to play with Sheik and not even touch Zelda.
