Returning from Japan fairly soon. Is there ever anything that happens around the UT area?

Coming to Tokyo for the Sonic Anniversary party from 24 to 26th. If anyone is around after the event I could play a few games (Although I mostly play Wii U).

At least this confirms patches. Kind of figured they weren't done patching anyway.

I will probably be visiting Osaka and possibly Kyoto around the 24th for a few days. Although I mostly play Wii U, I don't mind PM, although I rarely have access to it. I'm up for melee as well, but the problem I mentioned before still remains (For PM and Melee).

Some personal problems I have with the character: 1. The fact that he still has two spin dashes from brawl, and his homing attack was nerfed heavily. 2. FG lag. 3. BSBS being at least 50% of my deaths. As for character match ups... basically anyone who is just flat out better than me...

Are we speaking of only Melee? Or other smash games as well? (Also, do you prefer English or Japanese when being asked, on the twitter)

I don't think February is the last patch, just the last bunch of DLC and no more smash related announcements from Sakurai/Nintendo (In regards to this generation). But if she doesn't get buffed then eh. I already use Sonic as well.

Went to my first tournament a few weeks ago, was able to struggle, but not win nearly any at all (although it was a fairly big tourney in Japan, not a local. Everyone was fairly tough). I've been trying hard to improve since. This is just a FG, but it's my most recent one. Opinions are appreciated.

I play Melee a bit, but my hands always tend to cramp up from it. Many of my commonly used characters are also not in Melee. Bu in any case, I've heard that sometimes Oita students travel to Beppu for smash, so maybe I'll tag along with them if they ever go.
