That sounds right,I dont use tap jump but i think i remember frantically mashing jump beacause i didn't get what was going.

Level 9's have an obnoxious ability to doge and perfect shield every one of your attacks. Their weakness is that they always air doge when landing so you can punish thier landing lag. If you don't have internet for some reason amiibos make great opponents.
