if u have momentum and u run at the cfalcon/whoever, u have more leeway in your WD to reach them i think. it doesn't have to be that long/clean/good. sometimes i overshoot the wavedash when running at them and hit them with the weak part of the usmash though

turning around in shine isn't a problem for me. my problem is that i can never waveshine at full length. its pitiful

you can jab reset even if you waveshine backwards at them. it's pretty hard, but if you can pull off thunders combo backwards that's a pretty dangerous fox. at high percentages i ftilt, at low percentages i attempt to jab reset, but otherwise i usually just techchase, but there's probably...

yeah i agree (with the first and second part). the brawl engine just doesn't feel right. the characters seem like heavy and floaty at the same time. and the extra animation just doesn't feel right either. if P:M wants to make a melee 2.0, why can't they just work with the melee engine?
