I don't think Brawl is nearly as fun or exciting. There's nothing that's gonna be OMG WTF BBQ THAT WAS AWESOME in Brawl. Every tournament we goto we still have awesome combos that everyone just jumps up and yells. Ken Combo nowadays is the norm, but we still have freakin HOLY CRAP moments...

Obviously, there are differing opinions. Many for it is ok for the host to receive compensation while others believe it's not. I, for one, believe it's not ok to receive money for an event that you're hosting. I personally believe when you're hosting an event for your fellow peers, it should be...

Point taken, but the stages won't affect the top tier characters to the point where the lower tier characters suddenly become better. If you can find an example of a stage where a Yoshi/Bowser/Kirby is suddenly better than Fox/Falco/Marth, then please do so. Keep in mind that the tier list...

Characters like Fox, Sheik, Marth, and Falco can also take advantages on Icicle mountain with their speed and range. Nothing changes in this example.

How the hell does Yoshi have a better chance of winning than Marth? Items don't make the character all of the sudden better. Fox is the best character using items anyways. Items introduce luck that is not calculated into the tier list because the tier list just measures a character's moveset...

Items do not balance the game. All the fast characters (Sheik, Fox, Falco, etc) all can grab items much faster and more easily than the slow low tier characters. Plus Fox's item throwing animation is incredibly fast. Tiers measures a characters highest current meta-game. This just means in a...

Who says Melee didn't have emphasis on spacing? Pretty at extreme high levels of play, the differences between the top players is who can space and mindgame much better since everyone can do the advanced techniques anyways. Marth's A swipes are noticeably laggier, you will get grabbed.
