    Jigglypuff 1.15

I rest off stage and the enemy dies in a star animation but I Sd before that happens. I rest on stage and they immediately blast and respawn to punish me. A simple buff would make it so your enemies KO animation is dependent on where you rested.

We need to improve Jigglypuff as a character!

Shield breaker goes right above Puff. Duck and punish with Fair, rest, etc. You might get scared and want to shield it but don't. If you shield it, you die (unless its a perfect shield).

We need to improve Jigglypuff as a character!

We can duck and punish Marth and Lucina's shield breaker.

    Jigglypuff 1.1.4 Patch Changes!

There has to be a reason we didn't get any buff. Maybe no one has unlocked Puffs true potential yet? I need answers Sakurai!

    Jigglypuff 1.1.4 Patch Changes!

Cool. This is what I got originally Jigglypuff's Rest on Final Destination on Training Mode (Wii U 1.1.3) Rest: 56% total damage (3DS 1.1.4) Rest: 57% damage (Wii U 1.1.3) Rest kills Puff (Lightest character) at: 38% (3DS 1.1.4) Rest Kills Puff (Lightest character) at 43% I use DDD because...

    Jigglypuff 1.1.4 Patch Changes!

Okay i'm confused here. Do the 3DS and Wii U have different balance or something? I updated my New3DS to 1.1.4 and my Wii U is still on 1.1.3. I go to training mode and pick the same characters, circumstances, etc and can clearly see the differences. Buuut someone in a Smash group still says its...

Tested in training mode on final destination Both Rest do 20% initial damage Prepatch Rest: 56% total damage New Rest: 57% total damage Prepatch Rest kills Puff (Lightest character) at: 38% New Rest Kills Puff (Lightest character) at 43% I use DDD because he dies later than Bowser even though...

    Meta Rosalina Match-Up Analysis R2 - Jigglypuff

Jigglypuff shouldn't use Rollout if Luma is in play because Luma stops it and leaves Puff open for punishment. If Luma already has alot of damage then maybe it'll be ok because it'll get rid of her for a short time.

Data Pokemon Battle Strategies: Sm4sh Jigglypuff Matchup Thread (Discussing Ryu)

Colliding with the PK thunder ball is a good way to secure a kill against Ness. If you do it correctly, he'll go into free fall and die. If a Ness sees you approaching him offstage, he may try to fair you. You can shield/grab/punish or do whatever you think is necessary. Its situational so you...

Official Standard Custom Moveset Project: Jigglypuff

How did you kill with spinphony if they get their recovery back? The move is so bad but I have a gut feeling it could have a use in doubles?

Official Standard Custom Moveset Project: Jigglypuff

Has anyone figured out a use for spinphany. It turns people around but it gives them back their recovery jump. There's so much end lag that you can't punish people after it. The move can't be that bad can it?

I usually wait until around 130-140 before I expect uptilt to kill.

    PK Thunder gimping?

That's fair enough. FG Ness play are often stereotyped as being predicable and spammy as seen in this parody video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VByXDYMK4VA BUT because of Ness predictable recovery habits, there is little indication that this wouldn't work on a "Real Ness". That's why I'm...

Data Lullabies and Pillows: Official Jigglypuff Rest Strategies Thread

Standing at the corner of the ledge and shielding your opponents get upledge attack is a GUARANTEED rest if you do it correctly. You have to immediately drop your shield and rest after you hear the "thump noise" which is an attack hitting your shield. You have to do it quickly or it won't work...

    Worst matchup?

It is true ignorance. Too many people are unaware of Jigglypuff's gimping abilities. Very little people know about matchups. Not only that but Ness dies at a measly 56% to rest. A true threat to the Onett boy. Ness can kill Jigglypuff with back throw at around 90%. The matchup is about even but...
