So I've decided to pick up a different character other then fox to better learn the game. So i chose Falcon yay! so any tips for a new Falcon? Anything I should learn upfront? For the record i already know how to SHFFL, wavedash, and a bunch of other AT's.

Even if I just practise tech skill? Like not against cpu's or anything just raw tech like waveshining and stuff... Although I get your point about building bad habits, I had a tough time getting out of mine in brawl

So I got into competitive a long while ago in brawl, recently switched to melee because I like it more. I've picked up fox and I have some decent tech skill but I can't play other people because of where I live etc. well, not other competitive players anyway, however I will be able to I'm a few...

I'm pretty new myself, and all i do to stay motivated is remember why I started: to get better. If i don't finish what i started, it would make me feel bad like I wasted so much of my time practicing to just give up in the end. I also like to watch my favorite top players, it seems to help me...

Does Sheik have any advanced techniques that would be useful/worth learning? I already know how to DACUS, vanishglide, and jab-cancel.

What is dash dancing all about? What would its uses be and how would you get better at it?

I've begun to learn waveshining and things you can do out of it, i know things like spacing/zoning. i can also drillshine but I'm working at it to use it more consistently.

When I started Melee again, i got used to the mechanics of it, and then my friend wanted to play Brawl. I found it very hard to adapt to the mechanics after such a long time of melee XD

What are the most important things for a newb fox to learn? (I want to get good with him)
